Everyone loves the movies! The gift of entertainment makes the perfect present for any occasion, and shopping is made easier with our Gift Shop! You can purchase Gift Cards, Screen Savers and Gift Vouchers and have them delivered to your doorstep.

Here are answers to the questions most frequently asked by Gift Shop users.

Purchasing gifts online with your credit card is quick, easy and secure.

For gift products that are posted to you:
Step 1: Click on the GIFT SHOP link to open the online shop in a new window.

Step 2: If you'd like to know more about the product, click on the image or the product name. If you know which products you'd like to purchase, click on the ADD TO CART button beside the product. You can then choose to complete your purchase or continue shopping.

Step 3: For all products except eVouchers, select the method of postage you'd like to use from the options available. The total cost of your order, including products and postage and handling will be displayed. eVouchers will be emailed to you as soon as your purchase has been completed.

Step 4: In the YOUR DETAILS section, enter your details so we can contact you if required In the DELIVERY DETAILS section, enter the address where the package will be delivered (no PO Boxes or Locked Bag addresses can be accepted). If the delivery address is the same as the contact address, simply tick the box.

Step 5: In the PAYMENT DETAILS section, enter your credit card details. Your credit card information will be encrypted and checked through our online payment system to ensure there is no fraudulent use of your card and to check the necessary funds are available. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions. The box agreeing to the terms and conditions must be checked to proceed with the purchase. Click Pay when you are ready to proceed.

Step 6: You will then be taken to a page titled ORDER COMPLETE, which contains an overview of your purchase. A confirmation email will also be sent to the email address you supplied. Please print out the order or write down the reference number provided in the confirmation email, to assist you if there are any problems.

eVouchers will be sent to the email address you provided as soon as the purchase has been completed. eVouchers will be active for redemption within 24 hours of your purchase. All other products will be mailed to the nominated delivery address you provided. Delivery time will depend upon the postage option that you choose.

You can purchase up to 10 of our standard products each product in our online store. Promotional products are limited to 50 items per transaction.

You can purchase the following products from our online store:

Experience Products - give the gift of a movie experience. Packages include admission to the cinema as well as a food and beverage offering and are available in Gold Class Cinemas or Traditional Cinemas. Experience Products are only available for redemption at Village Cinemas locations in Victoria and Tasmania.

Gift Cards - there are two card designs on offer, each available with a specific value ranging from $30 to $200. The recipient can use the card to purchase movie tickets, items from the Candy Bar or for food and beverage in Gold Class.

Gold Class Gift Vouchers - treat someone special to a movie experience in Gold Class. Admission and food and beverage vouchers available.

Screen Savers - buy tickets in bulk and save money when you see lots of movies! Groups of 5 or 10 tickets available for adults or children.

Gift Vouchers - single admission vouchers for adults, children or seniors.

eVouchers - eVouchers purchased online can be printed yourself instantly. It’s as easy as BUY-PRINT-GIVE! eVouchers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. eVouchers can be redeemed nationally except for the ‘Experience’ Products which are only valid for redemption at Village Cinemas locations in Victoria and Tasmania.

Gift voucher expiry dates are printed on physical vouchers and eVouchers. In general eVouchers and Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months and Screen Savers are valid for six months from date of purchase. Gift Vouchers, eVouchers and Screen Savers are valid for one admission only, and the voucher is to be surrendered at the ticket box in exchange for a cinema ticket.

Gift Cards and Experience cards will have an expiry date or issue date printed near the barcode of each product. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue OR until the last day in the month for cards that display an expiry date or until a $0 balance is reached. Each time the card is used, a receipt will be issued stating the expiry date and remaining balance.

Promotional Vouchers and Gift Cards are subject to Terms and Conditions that are specific to the offer. Please check the specific Terms & Conditions as well as the expiry date on promotional items for further information.

Gift Cards with a monetary value loaded on them can only be redeemed at Village Cinemas locations: VIC - Airport West, Bendigo, Century City Walk, Coburg Drive-In, Crown, Doncaster, Fountain Gate, Geelong, Jam Factory, Karingal, Knox, Morwell, Rivoli Cinemas, Shepparton, Southland, Sunshine and Werribee; NSW - Albury; TAS - Eastlands, Glenorchy, Hobart and Launceston. Gift Cards can be used to purchase tickets, Candy Bar items, Gold Class tickets and food and beverages, but cannot be used to purchase other prepaid products such as Gift Cards, Vouchers or Screen Savers.

Gift Vouchers and Screen Savers can be redeemed at any branded Village Cinemas, Greater Union or Birch Carroll & Coyle Gold Class cinema locations. They are not valid for Movie Marathons or Special Events. Please check the individual product for the full terms and conditions that relate to a specific product.
Gold Class Experience Packs, Traditional Experience Packs, Family Pack, Kids Pack, Drive In voucher, Vjunior and Vpremium vouchers can only be redeemed at the relevant Village Cinemas locations in Victoria and Tasmania. Please check the individual product for the full terms and conditions that relate to a specific product.

You can check the balance of a gift card with a monetary value loaded on it online by visiting this link: https://villagecinemas.com.au/Gift-Card-Balance. A receipt will be printed after every over-the-counter transaction stating the value left on the card. Alternatively, you can request a card balance without making a purchase by asking the Ticket Box staff. You can also contact the customer service team on 1300 555 400 to find out your balance.

When redeeming your gift card in person at the Ticket Box or Candy Bar, you can pay the remaining amount using another method of payment - eg. cash, EFTPOS. If you are booking online you can redeem your gift card and pay any remaining amount with a Master Card, Visa Card , or PayPal. Alternatively please contact us on 1300 555 400 to make a phone booking if you need to make a partial payment with your Gift Card.

The transaction value will be removed from your gift card; the balance will remain on your gift card until the card expires or it is all redeemed. We do not give change in cash.

Yes! Our online ticketing system accepts Gift Cards as a method of payment. You will need to type in the gift card number and enter the four digit PIN located under the scratch panel on the reverse of the card. This should be entered on the ‘PURCHASE’ screen, prior to any other payment details (if required) being entered.

No. Gift Card are non-rechargeable.

We cannot replace or refund lost or stolen cards. Treat the card like cash and keep it in a safe place.

No - all standard Gift Cards including the Gold Class Gift Card can be used at any of our traditional or Gold Class cinemas. Excludes 'Experience' products. 

No - gift products are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

We accept Visa & Mastercard credit or debit cards and PayPal.

Our online ticketing system has security measures in place to protect our customers from loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. The secure server software, Secure Socket Layers (SSL), is among the best available for secure commerce transactions. When exchanging personal data such as your credit card number, your name, email address, etc, this data is encrypted so it is incomprehensible when sent across the Internet.

All online payments made to Village Cinemas undergo a ‘pre authorisation’ process. Once you have entered all of your details on the payment page and pressed submit, a pre authorisation check is completed to check that there are available funds on the card prior to issuing the gift product or movie ticket.

If the transaction is cancelled for any reason either by the customer or Village Cinemas the pre authorised funds will be released back to the customer. Please note that the pre authorised funds may take up to 15 business days to be released back to your account as each financial institution has different timelines that they work to. We would advise speaking with your financial institution for further information.

 

Delivery prices are dependent on your total order and your preferred delivery method. When you are ready to check out, the delivery options and costs will be presented to you.

Delivery time is dependent on the method of delivery that you choose. As a guide, your items should arrive:
Registered Post : Within 5-7 working days from the next business day. Signature is required on delivery.

Express Post: For delivery to metropolitan areas within 72 hours from next business day. Delivery within 96 hours from next business day for regional areas. Signature is required on delivery.

Courier: In 2 working days for delivery to major capital cities from the next business day. For regional deliveries, please allow up to 3 working days for delivery from the next business day. Please ensure that you will be at the delivery address to personally receive the parcel as your signature will be required .

Our online ticketing system accepts Gift Cards as a method of payment. You will need to type in the card number and the Card Pin, which is the four digit number located under the scratch panel on the reverse of the card, on the ’PURCHASE’ screen prior to entering any other forms of payment (if required).

To make an online booking using Gift Vouchers or Screen Savers, simply enter the voucher barcode numbers in the “voucher redemption code” section of the online booking page (make sure you leave the other quantities of tickets as ‘0’, unless you wish to purchase more tickets) You will then need to enter the three digit PIN that can be found underneath the scratch panel next to the barcode number.

Phone bookings can also be made using Gift Cards or Vouchers. Please contact our Customer Service line on 1300 555 400. Please ensure you have the gift cards and/or vouchers handy.

Alternatively, you can visit the cinema in person to redeem your vouchers and gift cards.

Yes! It is recommended that you book your seats in advance at sites with allocated seating if you have a seating preference. Allocated seating applies to sessions at the following cinemas: Century City Walk, Crown, Doncaster, Fountain Gate, Jam Factory, Karingal, Knox, Launceston, Morwell, Rivoli, Shepparton, Southland, Sunshine, Werribee & all Gold Class cinemas.

For sessions where there are no allocated seating options, we recommend arriving early to choose your seats when you attend the session.

 

No. All gift products sold online are done so on a no refund, return or cancellation basis. You must agree to these conditions before you make your purchase. Please ensure you select your gift products carefully at the time of purchase so no problems arise.

 

No. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an email with your order confirmation number.

All payments taken via the Gift Shop are transmitted via SSL. You can ensure that your transaction is using SSL by the small padlock icon in the address bar on each browser. Our cookie is held in your system's memory only while the browser is open and is erased when you shut down your browser. Nothing is written to or read from your hard drive.

You may be asked to provide personal information, as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ("Personal Information") to Village before purchasing any movie ticket, goods or services from this Website, before entering any competition on the Website or before registering as a member of the Village Movie Club . If you do not provide that Personal Information to Village, Village may not be able to sell you movie tickets, goods or services, enter you into competitions or register you as a member of the Village Movie Club.

All Personal Information Village collects from this Website will be maintained in accordance with Village's Privacy Policy.
