Are movie vouchers valid for all movie session times and cinemas?
Movie vouchers are valid for most sessions and times; however they are not valid for group bookings, special events (marked with a SE label on our website), movie marathons or in conjunction with any other offer or promotion unless otherwise stated. Off Peak, Promotional and Screen Saver vouchers may also have additional restrictions such as not being valid at certain times of the week. Please also keep in mind that Gold Class vouchers can only be redeemed for Gold Class sessions and Traditional vouchers can only be used for Traditional sessions.
Do movie vouchers have an expiration date?
Gift voucher expiry dates are printed on physical vouchers and eVouchers - please refer to the specific item terms and conditions prior to purchasing.In general full priced vouchers and gift cards are valid for 3 years, Experience vouchers are valid for 1 year, Screen Savers are valid for 6 months and Promotional vouchers vary.
Are there any restrictions on using movie vouchers for new movie releases?
No, there are no restrictions, unless the new movie released is marked as a special event (with our SE label tag). Surcharges may also apply.Promotional and Screen Saver vouchers may also have additional restrictions such as not being valid at certain times of the week.
What should I do if my movie voucher is lost or stolen?
Please treat your gift voucher and gift cards like cash - if a physical gift card/voucher that was purchased at the Candy Bar at one of our cinema locations, at a Gift Card stall popup or purchased from a third party seller and it is lost or stolen, we are unable to trace the original purchase. For lost online eVoucher purchases, please get in touch with our customer service team and they will do their best to locate and re-send your voucher to you.
How do you check balances on movie vouchers?
Movie vouchers don't have a balance like a Gift Card. However to check the status and expiry of your voucher, please review the T+C's for the specific voucher on this website, visit a location and check with our staff or alternatively, get in touch with our customer service team.Alternatively to check the balance and expiry date of a Gift Card, present the Gift Card at any ticket box at a Village Cinemas location or log into your Vrewards account and follow the prompts online at https://villagecinemas.com.au/gift-card-balance.
